DiRx Appoints Simone Grapini-Goodman as Chief Marketing Officer

DiRx Inc., an emerging digital health company, announced today that Simone Grapini-Goodman has joined the company as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She will oversee all aspects of market research, brand and public relations, consumer experience and demand generation as the company prepares for its commercial launch and upcoming growth.

Simone is a top-performing health care marketing leader with 20+ years of B2C and B2B experience, with the majority of her time spent at UnitedHealth Group (UHG), a Fortune 10 global company. She has vast experience in building teams, enabling revenue growth, and bringing focus and clarity in rapidly evolving environments.

During her tenure with UHG, Simone led Marketing and Communication strategy for payers and providers as part of what is now Optum360. She also directed Consumer Research, Member Engagement and Digital Strategy for Optum Health Management products and served as Vice President of Academic Partnerships as part of Optum Technology's Research & Development (R&D) group. While at UHG, she also served as Vice President of Marketing, where she built and led Digital and Social Strategy for their Medicaid business in a time of great industry change brought on by the Affordable Care Act. She most recently dedicated her time to various nonprofit causes, including University of North Carolina's pandemic preparedness and response initiative, Rapidly Emerging Antiviral Drug Discovery Initiative (READDI).

Simone holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Maryland and a BBA from the Texas A&M University system. She remains committed to lifetime learning and has also completed coursework from Duke, Yale and Wharton.
