DiRx Appoints Ben Maizel as Chief Operating Officer

DiRx Inc., an emerging digital health company, announced today that Ben Maizel has joined the company as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will oversee operations and customer service.
Ben's professional background spans an illustrious 40 years, covering all aspects of commercialization and distribution in the pharmaceutical industry.
Starting his career in retail pharmacy, Ben transitioned to wholesale business, where he launched one of the first private label generic pharmaceutical lines in the U.S. He has held sales leadership roles for Taro Pharmaceuticals and Alpharma, where he built and led national sales and marketing groups, and was President of Rouses Point Pharmaceuticals. He later established and ran RxTPL, the third-party logistics division of Masters Pharmaceuticals, as its President until its acquisition by McKesson Corporation, and he continued to be associated with it until earlier this year.
Ben also has experience in medical advertising and specialty pharma repackaging and helped launch or reset multiple pharmaceutical companies as well as brand and generic products as an independent consultant. Some of his clients included Reliant Pharmaceuticals, Endo, Eisai, Triax, Akrimax, Rouses Point, Epic, and Edenbridge.
Ben graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Business and earned his Masters from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
