Are you looking for a safe, effective, and painless option for Testosterone Replacement Therapy? We are now offering Kyzatrex™ (testosterone undecanoate), an innovative oral testosterone capsule indicated for testosterone replacement therapy in adult males for conditions associated with a deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone.
Male hypogonadism is a medical condition that can impact men of all ages, though it is more prevalent among those:
Low testosterone affects ~15 million men of ages 25-75 in the US alone, 40% of men older than 45 years old, 30-50% of men with type 2 diabetes1, and approximately half of men who are overweight. Additionally, more than 66% of men suffering from erectile dysfunction have low testosterone levels.
Low testosterone is caused by your testicles not producing adequate levels of testosterone. It is more common in older men as testosterone levels drop 1-2% per year beginning in your 40s. As testosterone levels decline, some potential symptoms include impotence, anxiety, weight gain, anemia, lower vitality, and reduced muscle mass. Moreover, men with low testosterone are 4x more likely to be diagnosed with clinical depression, and low testosterone can also cause osteoporosis in older men.
Currently, there are four major types of TRT solutions other than oral testosterone pills (what Kyzatrex™ is): injections, implanted pellets, gels, and patches.
The most common form of TRT is injections. While these treatments are readily available, they are difficult and painful to use2. Additionally, some side effects of TRT injections include allergic reactions such as rashes, itching, hives, swelling, blood clots, mood swings, sleep apnea, worsening mood, and depression, along with more serious effects such as heart attacks, liver injury, and strokes3.
Another form of TRT is implanted pellets, however these require a medical professional to insert which is both time consuming and can cause pain4. Additional side effects of implanted pellets include swelling at the implantation site, nausea and vomiting, acne, changes in body hair, and cardiovascular risks5.
Next, there are testosterone gels. While these do have the benefit of being painless, they add the additional inconvenience of being messy to use6. Additionally, topical gels could potentially have harmful effects on others who touch your skin (especially women and children), acne, depression, headaches, mood changes, skin irritation, leg pain, shortness of breath, a decrease in the number of sperm cells produced, and prostate cancer7.
Finally, we have testosterone patches which have the immediate downsides of taking longer to use and also being visible on your body8. Additional side effects include blood clots, diabetes, drug abuse, sleep apnea, strokes, prostate cancer, organ disease, and sleep apnea9.
Kyzatrex™ is revolutionizing the testosterone replacement therapy industry by providing an alternative treatment that is easy to swallow, invisible (unlike testosterone patches), leaves no mess (unlike testosterone gels), is painless (unlike both testosterone injections and implanted pellets), and has flexible dosing10.
Kyzatrex™ is an FDA-approved drug that has been thoroughly clinically tested and found to have a 96% success rate in restoring men with low testosterone levels to normal testosterone levels at the end of a 90-day study. Additionally, each Kyzatrex™ oral testosterone pill has been uniquely formulated to be easily absorbed through the lymphatic system and bypass your liver which makes the delivery process efficient without causing liver toxicity as shown in Phase 3 trials11.
Finally, Kyatrex™ is easy to use with daily oral dosing. Just two oral doses per day of Kyzatrex™ with food can restore your testosterone levels to normal and keep them there. Moreover, everybody is different so Kyzatrex™ has flexible dosing at 100mg, 150mg, and 200mg capsule sizes which can be adjusted by your doctor as needed after starting your treatment.
As with all drugs, Kyzatrex™ does have potential side effects, however. During clinical trials, the only side effect found in >2% of patients was high blood pressure at 2.6%. Other side effects were found in <2% of patients. Additionally, in this study of 155 patients over six months, only one patient discontinued due to a side effect and this was simply acne12.
